How was my time great! So I actually want to New York and had to drive there pretty late, at like 7:00. First I was gonna have my dinner to go before going to the art show, and at the show had a lot of artist, and some pretty cool art there.
This is actually Phil Hale right here.
These are a few of my favorite Artwork I saw by Phil Hale.
I read in Wikipedia he was also known for making comic book illustrations, and a saw a few of his art here that weren't in the show. It was just his fine arts.
What was pretty cool is that most of the other people in that show are painters as well, which I'm not use to seeing more often. I don't think I'm as much of a fine art person, as I am, with illustrations and cartoons... I don't know why, not to saying I don't like them, but I do not know a lot about it. I haven't meat or been reading as much fine arts, Here's the thing.
I Asked Phill himself what's the difference of illustrations, and fine art on his experience, and I even thought that illustrations seem to tell a story, and fine art tells less of a story(it what I hard of), but I didn't agree, that didn't sound right. He said all arts would be base on story, but with fine arts he has to figure out more of what to do and figure out different ways to take reality. Illatrations on the other hand on my opinion is based on fictional art and a story, then reality like I see with fine arts.
With illustrations on my opinion, it mostly based on fictional story line, that can just clear, he's got one point with fine arts you have to make attention that to do if it just reality.
So personally I just have more of a thing for illustration fictional art then fine arts. Like I said not my most favorite, but there are someI liked what I saw.
Bottom line I a good night out in the New work's night out with this show. I really haven't been going to New York for a long! Time. I was wishing I can go a again at times.
